An Invitation from the Secretary General

Honorable Delegates, Distinguished Advisors, and Cordial Guests;

It is my privilege to invite you to the 2009 California Model United Nations (CALMUN) Fall Conference.  My name is Stacy Allen and it is with utmost esteem that I serve you as the Secretary General for CALMUN.  I have been involved with Model United Nations for several years, serving most recently as the Head Delegate of my collegiate team. 

I am enthusiastic and ready for the changes that are in store for CALMUN this year.  Back at the amazing Knott’s Berry Farm Resort Hotel, our committees and topics are new and exciting, and are sure to challenge you.  Whether you are a first-time delegate or a seasoned veteran, we are sure that there is something for everyone this year.

The theme for our 2009 CALMUN Fall Conference is, "The Reality of Globally Integrated Economies."  Your Secretariat has worked hard to make this an exceptional conference and strive to provide you with research that is relevant, informative, and thought provoking.  It is my personal goal to have CALMUN strive to continue to challenge you year after year and become even more successful.
